I'm giving them 4 stars because it's amazing value . We booked 2 rooms for 3 days £333 . I wasn't happy with my room ,( too many stairs I'm disabled), no problem they upgraded me to a double on ground floor at no extra cost . The receptionist was so helpful and lovely. Yes it's a little dated in the rooms but the location is amazing, the rooms are clean and I would would stay again I don't mean that their aren't some issues but it's good value for money and if your on a budget it's a good choice. 4 stars are for value ,service , location. And the lovely staff
Great location. Lovely staff. Very clean rooms. Comfy beds. We booked two rooms with sea view. One standard and one dulex. On arrival we was upgraded and placed on level 1 near to each other. £36 a room. Very happy with this. Very modern bedroom and shower rooms. Tea and coffee provided. Towels and shower gel provided. Tvs in both rooms. No unwanted noise. Would defo book again

I didn’t book, just walked in and was greeted by a very friendly reception team. I asked for a single room with a bath and my request was met. There is a generous supply of tea and coffee in the room too. This hotel is great if working in and around Gt Yarmouth although they don’t serve food there are plenty of eateries along the sea front. I will definitely stay again as it’s great value for money

Absolute bargain of a hotel. Fantastic location. We arrived over the Easter weekend and the cleaning staff had been held up for 20 minutes which is understandable. To compensate we were given an extra 2 hours to check out and chocolates and drinks while we waited. The staff were amazing particularly the lady behind the front desk who had to deal with people's concerns. The room was great, clean and spacious. Lovely shower, free parking out front. Very impressed
Last minute decision to stay overnight we 2 dogs with us, phoned a couple of hotels and the Carlton hotel had room which was great and even better as we could take the dogs too or we would of gone home. Hotel room was a lovely size for us all the reception people were lovely, polite and helpful can’t fault the hotel at all. Only thing was the lift was out of service but which would have help a little.
